David & Tamela Mann Release R&B Album Offering Christian Couples Clean Music to "Make Love" To

Soooo this article popped up in my Facebook newsfeed. At first I thought it was a joke, but then I read the whole article and realized that it is very serious.

About 10 minutes later, my girl Kwanishia DM’d me about the article, asking about my thoughts. And here they are:

I don’t care.

HAHAHA! Let me explain.

I only know the song “Take Me to the King” by Tamela. I don’t really know her like that. So I don’t feel connected to her and her music at all. But if we were talking about Yolanda Adams, Mary Mary, Kirk Franklin, Tye Tribbett, or any other Christian artist I grew up listening to, I would be slightly disgusted.

Can I get real for a second?

It’s really hard to echad to popular baby-making music. Roody & I have tried it. I usually end up getting distracted by the ridiculous lyrics, or I feel guilty for indulging in dirty music. So the fact that they have produced some clean music to listen to while I become one with my husband…

I don’t hate it.

Will I have a listen? Probably not. But then again, I might! Who knows?
