When an Old Skirt Surprisingly Still Fits!
Yesterday was kind of weird. I edited pictures all day. Then randomly at 6:30 PM, I fell tired and slept for almost 2 hours. I felt so badly about myself, that I had left Roody with the boys all day. So when I woke up, I decided to do my part and I worked on cleaning up Jonathan & Jaden's bedrooms.
During that cleaning, I discovered that my old closet had some clothes still in it! One of those items was an EXPENSIVE black & white skirt that I was sure no longer fit me. I bought it before I got pregnant with Jaden, and it was a size 4. The sight of it made me so sad because I thought I'd have to give it away. I had only worn it 2 times, and I think it cost about $60.
I wanted to try it on one more time. Just cuz. Roody had to help me with the zipper because I couldn't reach it. I told him not to try to hard, because I was so sure he wouldn't be able to zip it. To my surprise, homeboy zipped the thing up with ease.
Que lo what?!
I ran to the bathroom to check out how I looked. Girrrrrllll! Lemme tell you something!!
I've never been so excited about an article of clothing in my life. And of course, I wore it to church today. Oh, all the compliments I received! I felt like such a princess :)
