The Only Lamb Chops Recipe You Will Ever Need
And I mean it.
This was my first time cooking lamb chops, but I can’t imagine needing any other recipe. This one was so perfect and flavorful and allowed my well-done chops to still be tender and packed with juices.
The recipe can be found on the Food Network website. Things to note:
You will need a cast iron skillet
You will need to marinate your lamb chops for at least 6 hours. We marinated ours for about 18 hours.
If you do not have extra virgin olive oil, it tastes just as good with good ol’ Canola. We did half and half.
If you cannot find sprigs of Oregano, 1 sprig of Oregano = 1/2 tsp of Oregano Leaves.
Side Dish
You know what goes really well with red meat? Potatoes. We added some broccoli to the mix. Carrots are usually really good, too. Drizzle with oil, add some salt & pepper, toss to get an even coat. Bake at 400 degrees for 35 minutes. Boom.
Cook Time
We like our food cooked well, so we cooked the chops for 21 minutes in total, including the butter basting. The next time I cook this, I will probably cut down the time to 18 minutes
